Having used an OfficeServ DS5007S I wouldn’t give it any space on my desk!

The footprint of the OfficeServ DS5007S is just the same as the DS5014S or DS5038S and they have far more functionality than the OfficeServ DS5007S does! For busy people like me time is money!

If someone puts an OfficeServ DS5007S in front of me I’ll argue that they are not right in the head! The overhead of me using an OfficeServ DS5007S over say five years will be greater than if they’d placed a 14 or 38-button model there.

Don’t take my word for this – go ask the FD to do some calculations – OH I forgot, they’ll come up with some feeble excuse that the cost of spending Capital now is more expensive than leasing or some such argument!

Don’t get me wrong – the Samsung OfficeServ DS5007S does have its place – but not with me! It’s better suited to an engineer who spends his/her working hours bashing away on their PC designing the next nerdish gismo that’ll revolutionise the World of communications. They seldom converse except by email or webmail so they can refer to printed instead of spoken words.

The OfficeServ DS5007S is not a receptionist’s tool – they should be equipped with the OfficeServ-Operator application or a DS-5038S plus 64 button Add-On module.

If the OfficeServ DS5007S is ideal for anyone it’s the Managing Director – his PA handles all his calls so all he needs is two or three CALL keys and he’ll be happy as Larry!

OK so you’re still determined to have an OfficeServ DS5007S. Can I suggest you have 25% knocked off it – that’s the price – not the receiver!
